Hello!

Hi, just thought I would introduce myself. Ive been using a Pentax k200d for about 18months now and I've got to say I love it. It's been a steep learning curve, I used a Nikon Fm2 SLR about ten years ago then didnt really do anything for a couple of years. I know the k200d is'nt the best camera out there but it felt like a good starting point, and the fact that I can use my old SMC A 50mm on it is a bonus.

I'm looking forward to using this site and picking up some hints and tips along the way

hi 456 - yep you are right - this is a good starting point - communities are better then every training - you share pictures, you get feedback, you see the work of others and you can ask questions in the forums - this is really such a good learning experience which I - after years, still appreciate. I am looking forward to, seeing your work.

I believe that the K200 is a decent camera - problem is I am not speaking from experience as I have a K10 - same sensor as the K200 I think

Hi there and welcome. I have a K200D and love it too - great camera bought as a back up but gets a good share of time out with me - especially in the winter!
