As well as flowers, there were plenty of interesting patterns at RHS Harlow Carr. Here are some of the more abstract ones. All hand held with K3 + F135mm f2.8. Interesting how inspiration that day came from looking at detail rather than the big scene .

Thoughts, comments etc. welcome as usual.

Steve, I absolutely love the manner in which you have looked at these. 3 in particular is quite grand, full of movement and light.

Love these Steve - particularly the last two, abstracts with a dominance of a single colour are a style I like - and good choice of lens

For me No. 3 is the pick of the bunch, that sinuous curve is lovely and drives the whole composition for me, plus that striking leaf colour.

Thanks folks. I'll admit to being lucky with the sun with No. 3 .

Yes, perfect fror this sort of thing. It came from a bloke who didn't want it any more - I wonder if he's regretting it now.. .

They are indeed very nice - especially #3 !
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

No 3 is the standout one of the set. Very nicely done.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

No. 3 is the standout for me, too - well spotted and composed, with an outstanding result. Superb!
