Happy K-5 owner

I bought my K5 a few weeks back but today has been the first day when the light and weather have been good for photos and I've had time to get out.

I really am very impressed with the way the camera renders colours, through Capture One they look superb - much better than the D7000 I owned previously

I got myself a 16-45 lens and really like the extra wide angle it offers over the standard kit lens - with a bit of sharpening I'm very pleased with the RAW files it produces. Problem is I think I may need to get hold of some of the primes now.

Glad you are enjoying the K-5, the pic looks nice and sharp with great colours.
Imo the 16-45mm is a very underated lens.

Welcome Dave, saw your pic on the Gallery - it looks good and sharp to me. There are plenty of primes out there for you to choose from - hope you have deep pockets!
