Hague Steadicam motion stabilisers

I have one Mini and one Maxi Steadicam. These were the analogue forebears of todays (expensive) electronic steadicams/gimbals

These are still sold - https://www.haguecamerasupports.com/steadycam-stabilizers - so I assume they remain popular as a low cost entry into gimbals. I bought them, but never used them

I'm looking for £ 20 + p&p for the Mini, and £50 + p&p for the Maxi.

How do you fire the shutter?

These are intended for video, so I'd use a remote and simply edit the wobbly bits at the start and end of each clip.

I confess I've never used them. Like a lot of my gear, bought on a whim!
