The over-sharpness actually suits this image, giving a gorgeous texture to the snow. Fantastic!

It's a very nice scene, great clarity. I can understand the extreme sharpening to bring out the detail in the snow, although even that's too much for me, but the rockface I think looks far too unnatural and harsh to look at.
