Looks amazing doesn't it and very powerfull.
Might be a good place for a photographic vacation, could probable spend there for months if not longer.

Has anyone been seen it with their own eyes?

I never realised places like that existed. Very interesting.

Yeah me neither, it seems that there are more spoke towns on this earth though.

I know that in the Netherlands there are some abandoned buildings and also an airfield, might be worth to explore them.

That Texas film was quite good. There are about 500 Ghost
Towns in Texas. Quite a lot of info can be found on Google.
This site has quite a lot of photos and I recently saw a
book about them. Interesting stuff.

Yes sorry a little bit of Dutch came through.

They all look quite impressive but still nothing compared to Gunkanjima, you can walk their into a home and find shoes, cups, tv's, clothing... just liked they all left in an instance, very weird.

Thanks Stefan, I never went round it but there was a big US Airbase near where I live (Burtonwood)with massive warehouses and all kinds stored basically from the war to the mid-nineties when they moved what token personnel were left. They sold most of the stuff that had been in wraps for years such as NEW 30-40 year old Jeeps. It was the the biggest warehouse in Europe 3 million square feet. At one time about 60,000 troops were there and then everything left for years including houses and Nissen huts. They built about 800 houses on what was just the repair depot which employed 9,000 civilians in the war. Over 70 miles of perimeter fencing. I've got a book with all the facts about the place and it's mind boggling.

Wow that looks quite amazing, why have you never been around it
It's probable against the law to climg over the fench but who cares if it makes good shots

I did go round it when I was about 9 and they had an open day, big place they even had their own buses. Not a lot left now, Header House the big warehouse is still there, part of it's let out to business's. I once measured how long it was down 1 side to see how far it would be to walk right round and it came to a 5km walk.... no thanks The houses have been sold off to the general public. They used to have their own Hotel, but that's been knocked down.
