Apparently great-great-grand-dougf8 used to commute to the pit using some kind of flying apparatus. I've scanned a copy ...

The Old Serpentine Works......Guarded By The Serpent
used a grunge filter on the photo of the ruins with a bit of levels and colour tweaks
