Grip issues

Sorry Michael, we all missed this, or maybe nobody has experienced the problem. Either way, the question deserves acknowledging.
Was this a Pentax grip or a third party one? I never use grips so have zero experience of them.

Thanks for responding. It was a Pentax grip, which, according to the resposes from the other forum, appears to have an inherent design flaw. I have now received detailed instructions on how to take the grip apart and realign the pins. Knowing my luck, I would end up with little brass pins flying everywhere Accordingly, the simple solution is to do without a grip. So far, so good!!
