That's good weather for the Lakes!
You've got a view, cloud above the tops and everything. Were you expecting sunshine or something?

Contrary to common belief the Sun doth shine on Cumbria occasionally!
Just not on this occasion...

Pretty much exactly as it was last Wednesday morning when me & the wife were walking across it, although the near gale force winds kept the cloud off the tops nicely.
I'm certain there's some terrific photos to be had up there, it's just a case of being there at the right time which isn't easy if you don't live there - much like Snowdonia

I do too,
It's a clasic view whatever the weather but I'd like to get it in Snow!

Here's one more from the same walk, a similar view but with my rapidly disappearing other half, having had enough of my Picture taking!

I like the 1st one, the 2nd is a bit too over saturated for me.

Believe it or not, I never touched the saturation on that one but I agree it has always looked a little false to me as well.

Nice picture. Very nice ambiance! In also agree that the sunshine picture is not as interesting. BTW that disappearing act of the better half, mine also is fond of that trick.

Says it all really, not having great luck with the weather at the mo but I'll keep on plugging away regardless!
