I just bagged an AF-540FGZ Flash Gun too. And a shutter remote. I used to love taking bulb setting night shots ... point the camera into what seems like complete darkness and take 3 hour exposures!!

I'm currently scanning pics from my trip to Norway in 1986. I think there's some long exposure shots from there. But one I distinctly remember was a shot of southern Sicily from the roof of a hotel I stayed at which was on top of a mountain near Chiaremonte.

I'm really excited! I've just purchased a K20D +18-55 lens of Eeeee-Bay!!
I've had a 20 hiatus from photography and I'm really looking forward to getting back into it again. I've started to scan the 10,000 odd negs I had carefully archived from pics I took in the 1980s and it gave me a kick up the ass enough to bite the bullet and buy a modern DSLR.
I've always been a Pentax fan. I used an SF1 ( American model SFX ) back in the day, which I've still got gathering dust.
I've been lurking as a guest here fro the last few days and it looks like you've got a cool community going so I thought I'd sign up and say hello
It's been 20 years since I took a picture with a real camera so I may need to some help and refreshers once the courier delivers my K20D.
