Been using an SLR for many years btw - a PK mount Chinon CE4-S which I love for it's simplicity, features and results. One of the best things out there for learning the basics imho. Just recently taken the plunge into digital with a K-r from Amazon. I wasn't intending to, but I saw it advertised for £339 in January and thought "now or never"
