Fantastic set of pix. Scary? Not perceived that way by me anyway. It ain't about guts. They know exactly what they're doing and pay the pain in the training.

Fwiw; I just love watching the amazing dedication and pure athletic smarts of people like Alain Robert, Philippe Petit, the Jump-runner... building rooves/urban obstables so-called 'youthful pranksters', etc.

Can someone please tell me why are the French, above other nations, so good at this?

Great shots, I saw these yesterday, My 'main' hobby outside of photography is climbing, although I don't use ropes (and as a result I don't go very high:wink - it's great fun I reckon these places would get my legs shaking though...

Funny story behind it.
This was taken just behind 9/11 i believe.
At least when you enter the USA they take your finger prints... strangely enough they had some problems with their finger prints

Given the precarious places some of the subjects are in I wonder at where the photographer was. Great stuff!

There are probably easier ways to kill yourself

I was wondering that, too - probably a spot even more precarious than the climbers pictured!
