Lovely, the greens look good to me, you should upload a larger image so I can try it

This one is better than the one in the gallery but the trees don't look right somehow.
It is an incredibly difficult subject to capture well. I've been there twice now and know! I was lucky both times I was there that it was very clear. It looks like you had some haze to contend with.
Did you stay at the Canyon? See the condors? Last year we stayed overnight and got the sunset. Slept through the alarm and missed the sunrise though when lack of sleep and jet lag caught up with me.

Yes, it was a bit hazy which didn't help, we were there a couple of days and the whole time there was either haze from the heat or from cloud.
We stayed at El Tovar for a couple of nights, managed to see some condors but never in a place where I really could get a shot with the lenses I had with me.
This one managed to get itself (albeit in a small way) into shot though:

Lucky you staying at El Tovar!
We stayed at Thunderbird, and they were right outside our room! It was amazing to have those massive birds zoom less than 3 feet over your head. Stunning! I was cursing not taking the Bigma with me!
I posted some of my photos from last year here:

I've actually previously posted a version of this to the gallery but after a comment by Greytop I thought I'd have a go at improving the overall contrast a bit. The only possible problem now is I think I may have over-saturated the greens in the foreground.
Any comments gratefully received, I will get a version of this image I'm happy with if it kills me!
