I think i like image one but I find the conversion a bit dark and the tone a bit flat but in all 7/10

I know exactly what you mean. There isn't much light in the area in question, coupled with the light outside coming through the window, made it a little tricky.I think i like image one but I find the conversion a bit dark and the tone a bit flat but in all 7/10

That said, they are straight out of the camera, and I'm sure with a little more experimentation when taking (they were quick 30 second jobs at work) and some PP I think some of the issues could be resolved.
If you can't say something nice about Pentax, you won't say anything at all.

I would go with james on one,which lens did you use and would it have been better to focus a bit beyond your point just to bring in the foreground, just my take on this!
good shot and a good eye for composition.PP will enhance as you've stated.

Lens I used was my 18-55mm kit lens, so probably not the most ideal piece of glass for the shot (although the alternative was my fisheye or my 50-200!).I would go with james on one,which lens did you use and would it have been better to focus a bit beyond your point just to bring in the foreground, just my take on this!

Thnaks for the comment re: composition, I always try to take picutres which are interesting composition-wise, so it's nice to hear it's working!
