good close up lens ist*D?

I dropped my ist*D and lens while on vacation and there was damage to both. I sent the camera to Pentax for repair, but my close-up lens is close to 25 yrs old and they can't repair it. They do not make this lens anymore. It is a Vivitar series 1, 52-105 macro telephoto F2.5 lens. It was a wonderful lens for close up work.

I am looking for a similar replacement for when I get my camera back. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would recommend a Pentax 100mm Macro F2.8 FA lens....great crisp clean images.

I found a used one at a great price. Couldn't be happier with it and it is perfect with the *ist-D
