Looks a bit cold, poor bird. Great shots.

Great shots Gary. I have been chasing a small flock of these birds for a couple of days now without any success, they just wont sit still long enough for me!.

Love these, that poor cold bird all puffed up I can almost feel the cold, pretty little things.

Very nice, challenging little targets. Had some in our garden last week but couldn`t get a focus on them.

Superb shots Gary.

Delightful shots, especially when viewed (2048 x 1366).

I tried to do this last week, but little critters were too fast for me.

Marvellous shots Gary, you must have some sort of hide or static camera with a remote trigger to get this close?

David ,no hide or remote trigger just my normal set up.
I have found a spot in a local park where there are always Goldcrests moving around in the pines/brambles .These were taken at minimum focus distance for the Sigma 500mm f4.5 EX DG.

And now I want one of those lenses, ahh dammit
