As you say looks a fairly straightforward fix if you can source the parts. Have you tried Asahi Photo they might have some or know where to source them, they do some modern lens repairs so worth a try.
Yeah, I have been intouch, they unfortunately cant help and recommended J Pye - Which I have done but not had any response yet from them.

I would suggest contacting J Pye. If you explain the situation to them, they may agree to sell you the parts. I have had success in the past with this approach.

In the meantime, can you not at least repair one lens yourself using the good contact from the other?
A google search for Pentax Power Contact 48200-0M291 shows next to no entries, where you might expect pages of them for anything else.
Fingers crossed for Pye for now, I have found them to be very good in the past.
Thank you for the model recommendations Kevin, thats helps a lot! Cheers.
Only other option, mate has a 3d printer, might be able to fabricate something.
I'll keeps folk posted.
Geoff.

If the contacts on both lenses are identical, there's a chance that contacts from other lenses will also be the same size. Maybe a search on eBay for Pentax 'spares or repairs' lenses might allow you to get the spares yourself? You obviously have been ok taking the mounts off.

Unfortunately not, the module is injected plastic around the brass contact, so there is no simple way to extract the brass and re-insert a new bit. I have tried

We're the parts costly?
Great news Geoff. These are expensive lenses so it is good to know you are not stuck on this.
We're the parts costly?
Thanks, and thankfully not. I was quoted £25 + VAT + Shipping, so all in around £30 total for x2 parts. Which is fine, I use these lenses extensively and although the lenses still function in a manual sense, my K1 is exhibiting assorts of quirks in operation, with them attached.

I have checked several of my other lenses and these appear interchangeable, i'm quite sure there is just a ribbon cable underneath. Has anyone ever had this issue?
As a thought . does any one have an old spare or repair lens that that has this part they would be willing to sell, Im sure this is a diy job of removing the screws detaching the ribbon cable and replacing the part., DIY job.
Thanks
Geoff
