Thank you both for your kind remarks, it is much appreciated

#1 is an image that "haunted" me from way back in the mid sixties when I saw it in a copy of Woodworker magazine. Then about 5 years ago I came across the magazine again and finally I got to see it for real - it's bigger than I imagined having previously only seen a 2" B&W grainy picture. (For those of you wondering, it's part of the screen in De Grote Kerk in Haarlem)

We came back with over 500 pictures and I must admit I could have taken many more. Surprisingly all with a single battery charge. We'll be back next year, this time with the car.

Only saw two other Pentax users, a chap in a wheelchair in the Teyler Museum and another in Kuekenhoff Gardens. I didn't get the chance to say hello, so if you're members of this forum "hello"

First two for me... the staircase looks really impressive.

Thanks Dave, Algi,

The staircase, by the way, has a central core that looks like a hollowed out pine tree.
It is probably 50ft high in the corner of the Aude Kerk in Amsterdam

There is a female version on the other side, but I thought one was enough. Further information can be gleaned from :-

Stuey, I'm at a lot as to your meaning, but thanks anyway

In my view number 1 with the teeth looks a bit like something that could be used as a comedic depiction of Suarez biting Ivanovic's arm with those teeth they don't look that different

HI Stuey,
I've since googled Suarez and now understand your comment. Tbh I have no interest in football so it eluded me.
