It is atypical for that seller, so may be an error or even a hijacked account.

If its a hijacked account then he's pretty rubbish .. the idea is to offer the item a lot cheaper to draw the punters in.

Doubt it's an error given the auction has both a starting AND buy it now price which means he obviously thought about the value quite a bit.

Well well, I remember that sale. He bought my 100mm macro, no problems whatsoever, good communication and fast payment.
Best regards, John

He should be able to show us his bona fides then.
I think he's just trying to sucker a mug into buying him a new K-5.

Given his expensive lens he might have learned to move the plant pot before taking the picture. Its all I can look at.

I take it he's asking a bit much?....

Well if someone buys it...

I've just been negotiating the minefield which is used medium format gear. After avoiding listings such as "used for a photography degree" (I remember what student housing was like!) and "selling on behalf of my retired wedding photographer Father" (who most likely used it hard every weekend) I ended up buying a basic kit for about the same money, which was described as "perfect" and from a dealer.

Could I have paid less? Definitely. But I hope I've picked an example with plenty of life left rather than an old pro's worn out trade-in!

I've no experience of the usual prices for these but would wonder if he simply pressed "0" once too many times?

He would have had to do so twice though .. once for BIN and again for starting price.

At £140 BIN it wouldn't be there 2 seconds.

I have a Vivitar 2x teleconverter. I'm thinking I might be able to offer it on ebay for, I don't know, $750.....
What do you guys think?
