Giving up lurking
Look forward to your input on here.
I am trying to find fault with to justify an upgrade to a K-5!
There's nowhere to load your 35mm film in the Kx... is that justification enough?? (even though a K5 doesn't have anywhere either!)
Glad to help a fellow enthusiast out!!
Some lovely photos there. I really like the New Zealand set.
None of Oxfordshire though?
Where in Oxfordshire are you? I used to live in Wantage.
I'm in Bicester, which is unfortunately not quite as scenic as New Zealand! If I drive for twenty minutes I can probably find a hill...
I do have some more local photos though. I'll have to have a dig through and add some.
You will fit in perfectly here then - although I prefer to consider myself a connoisseur rather than addict
Welcome!
Carl

After quite a while lurking hereabouts, I figured it was time to get more involved! My name is Simon, and I have been a Pentax addict for 5 years now .
I started off with a K110D in 2007 which I bought without properly researching it, so it rapidly turned into a K100D so I could benefit from SR. Since 2010 my camera of choice has been the K-x, which I am trying to find fault with to justify an upgrade to a K-5!
I'm very much a generalist when it comes to my choice of subjects, but for the last 18 months my photography has mainly centred on my little boy. A small selection of my non-family photos are on my terribly under-used Flickr account here.
Hopefully I can live up to my good intentions and get properly stuck-in to the forum and join in the fun!
