From the US forum regarding this Lens:

From Sigma USA.

"We are scheduled to receive our first shipment of this lens next week. We are supposed to get enough to cover all backorders so you should expect it soon!"

Wonder if its relevant that the first one is DC (crop sensor) and the second DG (full frame)

Well if Pentax do release an FF camera then at least it might increase the number of Sigma Lenses available for the K_mount. Can't be bad

It is interesting especially considering they have interchangeable mounts on the new models, so technically it should not be a problem. It might be more of a logistics issue, numbers too low to justify stocking retailers around the world.

It is possible that history shws that their 30mm sold much more than the 50mm on Pentax and for that reason the 35mm is made available. It does also makes sense on aps-c.

I contacted Sigma USA just prior to Christmas and according to Sigma USA, the 18mm to 35mm f/1.8 in Pentax mount is due to start shipping at end of Feb, so we should see the first ones arrive in the UK early March.
