Get a grip ... or don't. K10D Grip.

Those pics are showing for me McBrian - but big thanks for doing the comparison - any chance of seeing if it's something obvious not letting them work?

I have just recieved an email from Mairead Byrne of Hahnel, who make batteries and battery grips for a range of kanikons, which allow the user to choose between Li-ion and conventional AA batteries. They currently do not have any plans for a similar battery grip for the K10D, but, she says, "In saying that we are constantly updating our Battery Grip range, therefore please keep an eye on our website www.hahnel.ie for new product updates"

So that's a "No, well maybe", or I could just be optimistic!

wow - hadn't appreciated just how small the Ist D screen looks in comparison! (oh dear, this isn't helping me resist temptation)

I think the K10D must be a lot better to handle without the grip. But for the 70-200 f2.8 and converter hand held i'm probably going to need the grip too...

Oh dear - I wonder where the best price for body and grip is lol

I took my K10D to my camera club last week, just to show off my new toy, quite a few of the members were impressed with the size of the screen, and impressed with the camera in general, I suppose I should take those as compliments from Canon users!
I did have my D along with me as well so they could compare the relative sizes.

Look, you're not making any friends around here you know. Stop rubbing it in!
