Garden visitors yesterday

Loads of photos to process from over the summer, but first a few from yesterday that I couldn't resist. Hadn't seen a grasshopper in our garden for years and years until 3 turned up yesterday. Got pretty close to one in particular, that seemed to follow me round with its eyes as I tried to capture it head-on. Weird! K70 + Sigma and Tamron macro lenses.

What's left of the lavender is still attracting pollen seekers, too, but not enough left, I guess, to keep them still for long, so a bit blurry here and there, but I like the colours!

Nice . Lots of grasshoppers round here as well, definitely more than in recent years. They look like a different species to yours though.

I've been bee-bothering too over the last few days. You're absolutely right about them being on the move all the time!
