First of all I'm amazed at what you find "a stroll" from your house!
If I take a stroll the best I can manage is a poorly maintained Municipal Golf Course.
I think the pictures prove you have the capacity to produce great images from your set-up, and I would hazard to say they are...with the exception of the first. Looks like a cardboard cut out of a bird that someone put in a tree. I know not why
The rose is softly focused, but hey, they make lenses to do just that.
The rest are great. Love the duck and the two bee shots.

Sometimes I'm serious and sometimes not, but I consider sarcasm an artform. Which is it today?

Thanks, Steve.
That heron might as well have been cardboard - it barely moved for at least 90 minutes.
And yes, the rose is a touch softer than first it appeared. It looked crisp when I was only half awake, but seems less so now - a perfect excuse to go back and try again, although the early-morning tranquillity will by now have been shattered.

Nice set Simon, the 1.4 TC is great isn't it?
With the DA*300 I barely notice a drop in IQ, but I do see a slight difference with the DFA100 Macro.
My favourite from this set is the Bee Fly in the Cranesbill flower.
Regards
David
