Hi Joe, take a look at Polyporus squamosus also known as Dryad's Saddle, I think it looks alot like the ones in your photos.

Hope this is of help to you.

Not that early. I've already cut my Chicken of the woods (Sulphur Polypore) off my yew tree. An edible bracket fungus, blanched it froze some and already ate some.
Fungus come at all times of the year. Be careful what you eat though?????

I don't think yours is good to eat. So don't try it unless you have someone with you who knows their fungus. We don't want people getting ill do we. The one I eat is bright yellow and tastes really good, and chefs will pay a lot for it but they get non of mine. My wife won't eat it as it hasn't got a supermarket date stamp on it.
Just be careful out there.

I like the first picture.

We have similar fungi here in Australia.
I don't know yet if they are edible or not.
I put a quantity in to the Stew my mother in law cooked. ( she didn't know about it).
However, it didn't affect her. It is possible, that toadstools don't affect witches.
Now I am still in the dark about it.

The next time I try one of them:
