There are more images out there now and it seems the three original Limited lenses are firmly in the package and getting a new lease of life.

It always seems a pity though that the images released aren't really great examples of anything, with far too much out of focus foreground and the like. It would be nice to see some really stunning images, which I'm sure we will see eventually, but why not from the start?

I would have expected that they would bring the three original lenses up to date first with at least quickshift and possibly new coatings.

Imagine how disappointed a user from another system will be if they buy the FF camera and the three lenses only to then find that they haven't got QS.

Ricoh don't seem to have a clue about marketing Very much like say Panasonic or Sony bringing out a super duper TV and showing images of their small B&W TV's from the 70's

QuickShift is the only thing missing from those lenses, and it's a shame. And a DC motor of course. I guess that would require a complete redesign and then we'd be debating whether or not they were as good as the originals!

If we are talking about the FA 43mm (one of my favourites) & FA 77mm prime lenses, adding water and dust resistant seals would be on my list. (I'd be interested in these on the DA Limited primes too.)

I note that the latest DA primes have HD coatings. Are the coatings on the FA primes as good / better? if not, I'd want that to be added too.

Fair comment. They are still SMC coatings, unless of course there has been a silent upgrade. There is a precedent for that, as some very late Super Takumar lenses were actually Super-Multi-Coated, but not yet labelled as such.

I'm not a Wolves fan, but someone just posted me a link to this quite simple video which is quite good if you watch it in full screen with the sound up.

Just imagine if Pentax did similar with the FF camera instead of a rugby team
