it does have an issue but not slow focusing, when it AFs it is fast just as it should be, but the odd(meaning rarely) time it will not lock focus but if you zoom in or out and back again its fine and AFs again, MF is perfect and the lens is tack sharp as it should be, comes boxed in excellent order(AF issue aside) only selling to raise funds for DA*16-50.

Velbon Sherpa+ 530 in immaculate condition, I purchased 2 of these and this is the unused one of the 2, superb tripods, strong, tall, lightweight, quick to adjust. comes with Velbon bag, no head included. £53 delivered

the 17-70 at that price is a bargain even if it needed some assistance (which would cost around 90pound more or less)
