FS Hoya 300mm F5.6

The K-01 had a rather useful fault which gave pseudo-A mode on M lenses. That plus the focus peaking meant I was happy to use these lenses. Alas, the K-5 offers neither and so I am selling this very nice Hoya 300m manual aperture/focus lens. Lovely metal and not much in the way of dust. A bargain at £25 UK delivered! The photos taken with the lens were RAW with just standard conversion and tweaking in LR.

Sorry to be a little off topic but what do you mean by 'The K-01 had a rather useful fault which gave pseudo-A mode on M lenses.'

Is it something which could be exploited on all K-01's or was it just yours?

I've already got its bigger brother, the 400mm which I have to say performs better (in my opinion) than the Pentax K 300mm!

Unfortunately my purchaser seems to have vanished? He/she's not a newbie, so I hope nothing serious has happened. In the meantime this lens is back on sale and still a bargain. The pics were shot at f8.

If the original purchaser remains vanished I'll take the lens for the asking price. Am in no rush and if you wish to chase up the original purchaser and he/she still wants it then let them go ahead.
