One of the few remaining M42 lenses I have left - this is an M42 fit stop-down metering lens in fair condition, a fun little lens and a good buy at 39 inc P&P.

What are the first two digits of the serial number (the ones which identify the manufacturer)?

A fab little lens. So well made, full metal jacket, compact & built to last. If I didn't have at least three 105mm lenses including a Vivitar series 1 f2.5 macro I would have taken this of your hands.

Here's a link to another owner of one of these who used it successfully for macro with a close-up lens attachment. Well worth a punt for 35.00. IMHO...

What you need are lenses, more lenses, bigger lenses, better lenses, faster lenses, and when you have these, your pictures will be perfect!
