Hi Magicman - assuming you mean the cable switch F then it is about 2.5 feet, but it doesn't work with current digital cameras, it was for the later af 35mm film and 645 cameras. If you mean the synch cable then that is simply for connecting certain older flashguns to the hotshoe of camera. It carries dedication informatin for a small number of flashes (af280t, af400t, etc.).
