My ColourVision / Datacolor Spyder2 calibrator is for sale.

This is a standard-issue USB device which I've found pretty easy to use. No box or manual, just the calibrator with its lead and the programme CD.

A more recent version of the programme CD's Spyder2express software should be on the Datacolor website (see under downloads on http://www.datacolor.eu/en/support/index.html). However, far superior results are achievable if the Spyder is used with DispCalgui and argyllcms, both free programmes easily available on the net. You will still need the original Datacolor software for its firmware files, however. Or, if you're not that worried, just use the Spyderexpress software. I've found that even basic calibration makes a really big difference on my monitor compared to none at all.

This is a legacy device in the sense that this model is not made any more and I bought it new about three years ago. It still works fine, however, and is in good nick. There are more sophisticated calibrators available now but they are also a lot more expensive.

Asking price is £45 including RMSD, for UK buyers only please. Payment by Paypal (buyer pays fees) or cash on collection (I live in Oxford).

If no takers here, then I will put my Spyder2 on a well-known auction site in a week or so.

My knowledge of posting parcels overseas with some degree of tracking/security is non-existent. If you can suggest a good method, then by all means yes though if it costs a lot we might have to look at a slightly higher price since RMSD for this would not be very expensive.

Is a good way of safely sending parcels to Ireland. It's also reasonably priced. I've used it to send stuff to relatives back in Ireland on numerous occasions.

Thanks for that, very helpful. Looks like sending this to the EU would cost about £10 give or take.

So, in that case I amend the offer. £45 for UK buyers and £50 for EU buyers including RSMD or Airsure as appropriate.
