Before I posted the advert I tested the lens on the wife wide open.
I got told (in no uncertain terms) to delete the pictures straight away as they showed every unflattering little detail.
It really is that sharp.

pheo, you can swap you 50-135mm for my sigma 50-150mm mint (less than 100 shutters) if you want

I am curious to know if there is a teleconverter 1.4/1.5x compatible with this lens that retains full auto focus?

There is a Tamron MC4 1.4x, Kenko 1.5x and also a 1.7x (not the Pentax converter) which all give AF to HSM/SDM lenses. Unfortunately Sigma teleconverters don't work with their own HSM on Pentax mount lenses.
They do on my Canon though. Another case of Pentax being swept aside.

Lens arrived today. It is as described, can't wait to use it in real world It was always high on my wish list, hope it will stay with me for a long time.

IMO optically the lens is only a hairs breath away from the Pentax DA* 50-135mm but has the added advantages of a longer reach and faster AF speed.
It is in superb condition and comes front/rear caps, hood and soft case.
£450 plus postage .. lens will be sent once payment has cleared.
