Anybody who has half a notion to buy one of these should do it now. The HSM version which replaces it will be significantly more expensive at $969.00. And for macro work, AF can be more of a hindrance than a help.
£399.00 new from SRS, £250.00 used here. A no brainer really.
If I didn't already have 2 x 100mm macro lenses, I'd have it like a shot.

that's the only lens missing in my kit but i dont think i can afford it. although the fishy and the 18-250mm might go at some point... tempting!

Selling as I'm reducing the number of lenses based on what I use, I have another macro lens and I'm looking to buy a decent compact camera.
The flock finish has the odd bit of de-matting but apart from that the lens is perfect.
Comes with soft case, hood, lens caps, box and paperwork (probably out of date).
Looking for £250 posted incl RMSD. Or swap for P7000/S95/LX5.
