FS: Pentax M42-K mount genuine adapter

mmm..im tempted by this, just a quick question as I have no idea about these things. I have a few old m42 lenses (I think thats correct they are part of a asahi spotmatic-f slr). Does that pin that stick out the back of these lenses cause a problem with the digital bodies, and what if any functions are available?

The pin causes no problems.
As for functions, with M42 lenses it's manual everything (as they were on your film camera) with the aperture done via the lens and manual focusing. The camera will meter using the green button (depending which camera you use).

O.k cool, I'll take this, its actually for my wifes dad, I've just got him a k100d from these forums, but took it around today and realised his camera was a bit older than I thought it was!

Adapter received, have had a quick go wierdly satisfying using a purely manual lens and amazed at pentax's implmentation of this feature (usually a canon person :blush. Many thanks
