Hi,

I would take everything, if delivery to Germany and payment via PayPal is an option for you.

Regards,

Hi,

PayPal seems to be no option, maybe a trusted member here would do me a favour and manage a personal handover (I would cover all costs and add a reward for your help)? If not, you easily can register for PayPal (I again would cover all fees).

Regards,
froeschle

Haven't heard anything though, so presumably froeschle got it all.

I know someone close to his destination.
So, I offered a personal handover with cash on collection.
However, my contact answered not within 1-2 days.
As alternative, I agreed on bank transfer - if a copy of the seller's ID card would be provided beforehand.
Additionally, I also offered payment via PayPal with all costs and fees covered by me.
After that he informed me that he has "agreed a sale to another member".
Maybe, I am a bit too suspicious - but sometimes, things are just too good to be true.

Thanks all.. Sold to Steve Coe, who was happy to meet and inspect, and pay cash.

I got my asking price, which was more than 50% what I paid, and a third more than I was offered in part ex at a couple of dealers. I suppose I could have asked for offers, and had a semi auction, but I like a simple life. It was priced to sell.

I would not entertain paypal with a long bargepole, which seemed strange to some, but I know of too many bad experiences. No disrespect to any on this forum
which is a generally positive place. Best wishes all.
