We recently bought this K-3 to be a second body at a wedding we're shooting next month, but I've just picked up a K3ii this evening, so this needs to go to a good home!

It is boxed with all original accessories and has only taken 1900 shots so far. It is, as expected, as new apart from one mark on the bottom of the camera as you can see in the pics.

Looking for £450 posted or £600 with this DA 18-135mm

- It's made of metal, not plastic
- It has higher resolution - 24mp vs 16mp
- It has a better shutter mechanism
- It has a better viewfinder
- It has a better rear screen
- It has more features
- It has a better motordrive for screw drive lenses
- It will not suffer from the Aperture Motor issues that have been reported on the K30
- It has better autofocus
- It has better white balance and exposure control
- It is better all round than a K30 and is also better than a K-5ii

It won't make you a better photographer. K30 is a great camera, not a plastic toy.

What sort of features does it have, and how much you asking for the body again?

Look what happens when you don't get on the forum for a couple of days!

Thanks to Andrew and David for jumping in and answering the questions, I've had no experience with the K-30, so that helps me out a lot, thanks.

As for the camera & grip, they are both sold awaiting payment, so sorry Aura these have gone but I do have another K-3 for sale here!

David has listed a lot of the features of the K-3 in a post above, what else would you like to know?

You could try Googling "Pentax K3" and reading some reviews.
Best wishes,

Somebody buy the goddam thing...£425 is a fab price... it's only the fact my K-3 keeps throwing itself on the ground puts me off buying another K-3, perhaps buying a diffenrent model might change my luck....

Well Peter, you'll be pleased to know it's sold!

Could I tempt you with a cheaper K-3 or a K-5iiS or K-3ii !?
