FS: Pentax K-1 (MKI)

I have decided to sell my backup K-1 in preparation for the new Pentax APS-C camera this year ( am I being a bit optimistic here? )

It is in excellent condition overall and comes boxed with body cap, battery, charger and leads. There is some wear to the tripod mount, some slight rubbing of the black paint on the hotshoe from mounting the flash and a couple of very faint scratches on the body itself but both screens have had protectors on since I got it and it takes excellent photos (obviously it takes better photos with some people than others ... myself included). It has done a shade under 10k actuations.

Am asking £925 including insured next day UK postage (which itself is around £25)

Almost tempted, but I'll wait and see what tomorrow brings, could just be an industrial camera.

I think last year I sold my K-3II, the year before that another K-3II and before that a K-3II (yes I have had 3) in preparation for a K-3II successor so I don't hold out much hope to be honest

good luck with the sale.

I too am hoping for a K3 II ''evolved' as promised BUT only to see APS-C continue to be taken seriously by Ricoh. I'm guessing £1400 starting price so my current camera will soldier on a bit longer. A consumer telephoto zoom (up to 400mm?) longer than my current 300 PLM would be nice too. Otherwise I'm very happy with what i have.

Updated firmware to new 1.51.

Bump and a reduction to £900 incl UK Postage.

Excellent camera at an Incredible price from a well respected forum member - how it hasn't sold I don't understand
