You are aware that this will fit your older bodies as well.
It has the aperture ring, just take it off the 'A' setting.
Same glass structure as your A f1.4, but more options if you upgrade your camera.
Sell the 'A' keep the 'FA', far more options for you.
I have used the FA 50 on a ME, MX, Z1, DS digital, K10D and K7, wonderful lens.
A lot sharper than a donkey doing simultaneous equations, while sitting on a razor blade, trying to push melted butter up a porkupine's ass with a red-hot 15-gauge needle, unfortunately, the razor blade is vibrating in harmony with the prime numbers drawn in the National Lottery, so the chance of the donkey winning Britain Has Got Talent, works out higher than the f-no. 1.4 of the FA 50 divided by the chance to the power 3, of the wife making me a cup of tea before going work on a Monday morning.
Hope that helps

Thanks for the advice but It is still for sale.
To be honest it was a bit of an impulse buy and I have some other things I could use the lens buying power for.
The A1.4 should cover my needs for the moment.

As I have just got myself an older A50mm 1.4, and that fits my older bodies as well, I think I could live with manual focus if I need a fast lens in the future.
It is in the box with all of the usual paperwork etc, absolutely pristine. The guarantee is still operative and I will be more than happy to assist the purchaser in the unlikely event of any problems.
Price £210 including RMSD in UK, less if collected from West Berks.
