Can't yo pay via Paypal? ... their exchange rate is usually rubbish but most of the time it works out a lot cheaper (even with their charges)

Sorry to go slightly off-topic (but only in an effort to help) you could investigate www.transferwise.com. I can't endorse it because I haven't used it, but it might work for you?
