Rated as 8.33 (Very Good) in the Review at PentaxForums (http://www.pentaxforums.com/lensreviews/SMC-Pentax-DA-14mm-F2.8-Lens.html) and 8.77 by their users.

Excellent condition, selling because I can't justify owning the 15mm and the 14mm !

Original caps, original hood.

Here's an example of the close-focus capability of this lens....

...I'm starting to have second thoughts about selling it after looking through some old photos taken by it

Oh man, I want this lens. I unfortunately upgraded my camera so will have to pass this time, unless you're willing to trade it for a DA 55-300 and a Tammy 28-300?

would you say the 15mm is the better lens?

Surely they are both pretty good optically? The 14mm is bulkier and heavier than the 15mm but is a stop faster. I'd say neither is better than the other, they're just different. The 15mm is a limited lens so they seem to command a higher price but test results seem to put them pretty close to each other with regards to performance. Cannot see a good reason for anyone normally wanting to keep both unless they're collecting Pentax lenses.

I wouldn't say better either - JAK is right in his comments, there are pros for both lenses:

14mm - 2.8 aperture, close focus, solid feel.

15mm - Light, compact, "Limited series" reputation.

But neither is weather-sealed!

The right choice is the probably the lens that suits your style and needs

If I'd be worthy of it (and if I lived in the UK, but I think that would be a minor problem), I was already dealing with you.

Bump for you and this great piece of glass

So tempting. I wonder if I should get rid of my Sigma 10-20 and go for this.
