FS: Pentax DA* 300mm f4

Want to try something longer (Sigma 150-500) for wildlife so I am regretfully selling my DA*300mm. Bought here earlier this year from another PU user (Pengbai). It is in superb condition and works like a dream. Have original box, case, caps etc. I will also include a spare genuine Pentax hood (I lost the first polarizer filter widget on a walk).

Can take some pics if required, but i'm sure you know what it looks like.

I know, it's a terrific lens. Really beautiful optics, but I want to try a long zoom. Can't afford to keep the '300 and buy the zoom, hence the sale. It's a nice example for sure.

IMO the 300mm f4 with a Pentax 1.7x gives superior results to the Sigma 150-500mm ... you may just regret selling it.

I got shot of a Bigma in preference of this combo for the very reason mentioned, and it's far lighter too.

I couldn't agree more. The TC will give you much better output at 500mm.
