FS: Pentax-A 50mm f2.8 macro - VGC

Complete with original front and rear caps. Optics are clean and aperture is snappy. There's negligible wear on the aperture and focus rings. I've checked it over a range of apertures on a *istDS.

Is this a 1:1 macro lens?

I've also used the D FA 50mm f2.8 macro (which is 1:1) and the A macro is perhaps better for travelling with, being more compact and the recessed front element means a hood isn't required in most situations. I've mostly used the A macro for hand held flower shots and I'm only selling as this is a second one I've acquired with some other kit.

Let me chime in by saying I have one of the these for a couple of months now and enjoy it a lot. Colours are great and it’s perfect for flowers though it works as a general 50mm too. In use I find it very sharp and on my K-x I have no trouble getting the things in focus. Someone will be very happy with this
