Tatty body but glass is perfect and aperture is nice and snappy.
Has the A contacts so you can set apeture and shutter speed on the body. Ideal first 50mm to see if the length suits you.

Comes with non original caps

£30 incl UKP .. lens will be sent upon clearance of payment.

Hi,
I've had several people say that with an old prime lens & some addition I can make a cheapish macro lens.
Can you tell me would this lens work for that and what else i'd need?

cheers,
pa.

You need a set of extension tubes or something like a Raynox DCR-250.

Unfortunately tubes are not cheap as you really want a set with A contacts (approx £100 for a used set) so you are looking at the Raynox which is around £50.

Of course you can always buy a cheap reversing ring and use it that way but it's a lot of faffing about.
