No snow left today, so glad I got out in time for these. I really like how a touch of frost (where have I heard that before?) emphasises the detail in the trees. These are only 5 minutes walk up the road from home. K-1 + FA 28-105.

5 & 6 tick the boxes for me, plenty of interest in those, graphically speaking. 7 has something of an ethereal quality to it that I like too.

Wow. You get shocking frosts up your way! Remnant snow, frost or both, there are some nice images here.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

nice serie, although to me some appear to have little low contrast that turns snow into greyish hue

Thanks for your comments, all.

Kingfisher - I can see why you would mention the "greyish hue". The light was almost gone by the time I took those and it was more for the late pm sky background that I did take them. I was a bit annoyed that my walk didn't bring me to that spot until it was almost too late to get even that! I just tried to whiten the snow a little which was easy to do on the ground, but it made the snow on the tree branches look very odd and I didn't have the patience/technique to tackle that!
