I think it's good too but I'd crop a fair bit off the right to put his nose on the third

Thanks for the comments John and Ken. I've cropped the image to put the nose on the third and cropped a little of the head off so the eyes are lying on the third too. I think this makes the face look "larger" so more interesting?

I like the off center look, but i'm not keen on losing the top of his head. Rather than put his eyes on a third I tried with one eye on a diagonal.

Thanks for the comment Barrie. I'm beginning to think it's one of those "everyone is right" images, so will play around with it a little more and see what else I can do with it.
