Weather permitting I fancy Fountains, although I would rather do it in the Autumn!....rutting deer and colourful foliage!

I'm also going to Whitby!...and I'm going to walk up to all the parading people and say "Would you mind if I didn't take your photograph?"...
What if you see a Grey Squirrel Goth???

Anyone still up for next Saturday here is a link to the Fountains Abbey website link It gives details of entry prices, how to find it etc.

I'm suggesting we meet at 10.00am in the coffee shop attached to the Lakeside car park.

This seems to be the most central for the deer park, the River Skell walk, Saint Mary's Church and of course the abbey and it's estate.

It should be possible to split the day in two with say deer park, back to café, Abbey, or something.

Thanks to Carl for his local knowledge.

So, who is going to Whitby (which is on the 28th)? I can't make two trips that far in a week.

Any goths at fountains?
I intend doing both - and possibly Whitby on both the Saturday and Sunday

Thank you. I've got three friends I imagine might be interested if free on the date. Would that be OK with folks?

Ah yes, I forgot that. He's forgiven.

I wish I could make the Fountains Abbey meet. Haven't been there for decades.
