Fountain's Abbey Illuminated X2

I took this shot on Saturday evening at Fountain's Abbey. It is one of those shots that has frustrated me in that it feels 'almost there' but not quite.

I suspect somebody skilled in PS could improve it - but using LR - the 2 very similar versions below are as close as I can get it.

The question is - which version?

All c+c welcome as usual

The first looks better I feel, just because the interior lighting is softer in appearance, it looks too harsh in the 2nd. I like the general tone of it, the soft purple and magenta bleeding into blackness is a nice effect. I would reduce green saturation and boost red a little, and maybe crop in further to reduce the black surrounds ...

Thanks Nigel - I resisted the urge to crop any further to the sides as it would mean losing stars - and this is the first time I have ever managed to get any decent ones in a shot. Will see what impact adjusting green and red channels has.
