Just a question.....
How can you see the EXIF data for photos posted here?
I can see it for Gallery items but not here.
Or is it because i am using a mobile rather than desktop?

There's a couple of answers based on how you're viewing the exif data.

For the gallery photos at the point of uploading the system reads the exif data (if available) and stores the records in the database, so when the photo is viewed the exif records are shown underneath.

For forum uploads, the image is just resized and we don't store the exif records.

The second answer is if you're using an in-browser-plugin, the type where you hover the image and the exif records are show, this all depends on whether the exif records were stripped before uploading the image, for example 'save for web' automatically removes the records.

Ok, thanks Rick
Not a problem, just sometimes would have liked to have seen camera, settings etc
On certain images
Keep up the good work

I've added a little on-load reader to the large view of forum photos, there's a couple of caveats though, the photo would have needed to up uploaded to Pentax User (not embedded from Flickr or the like) and the EXIF data intact at the point of upload.

You can see it in action at the bottom of the large view of these photos uploaded by John: Peaky Blinders
