Welcome to the fora.
Not quite a 30 year user yet and my original ME Super died Bird photography is not my strong point....
Best wishes, Kris.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Real name is John and long term Pentax user starting with an old K1000 (which is still in good nick some 30 years later - unlike me!).
Had *ist D, then K100D Super (now my wife's) and courtesy of a tax rebate I treated myself to a K20D.
Current project involves a gorrilapod, a remote control, and a woodpecker that sometimes visits our garden but no luck so far. Sod's law - the other day it was on the ground (very rare) - grabbed the camera just to get a few shots through a window only to find the card was in the laptop!
