Well here goes
Despite looking like the fossilised remains of some strange creatures from long ago, this is a piece of Burr Jarrah.

Grabbed a quick break today and drove out in the showers to try and enter both competitions with the same picture
I knew of this tree that might just do it.
But the storms passed so I made do with just the wood.
fish eye, 3 exposures hastily cobbled together!

The topic is ‘Something wooden’
It could be a house, furniture, a tree I suppose or indeed for the brave an expression!
This competition will close at 18:00 GMT on Wednesday 10th of December 2008. I am going away on the 11th so the judging will be fast and I hope can match the high standard set so far.
